The Healthcare Technology Accelerator Facility (HTAF) is a vibrant initiative aimed at expediting the development of healthcare technology within the University of Edinburgh BioQuarter. The HTAF consists of three main divisions: the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Manufacturing Lab, the Sterile Drug Manufacturing GMP Facility, and the Investigational Supplies Group (ISG). Specialising in producing small batches of Investigational Medicinal Products - MIA (IMP) tailored for clinical trials and commercial projects, the facility also conducts peptide synthesis, small molecule production, and method development/stability studies.
